The use of LEDs as bulbs has the advantage that they are less susceptible to mechanical stress than conventional bulbs or other bulbs. It is advantageous if the illumination device is arranged on the machine table via a positioning device to move the illumination device relative to the machine table and to lock in a predetermined position relative to the machine table. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION FIG. 1 shows a schematic representation of a machine table 10 of a machine tool, such as a grinding machine or a milling machine. The machine table 10 has here not shown clamping means with which the workpiece to be machined can be clamped in the machine tool.
On the right side of the table trough 40 of the machine tool 10, a spray cap 20 is arranged. On the inside of the spray cap 20, which faces the workpiece to be machined, a lighting device 30 is arranged, with which the workpiece clamped in the machine tool or in the machine table is illuminated or illuminated. The table pan 40 is mounted on the machine table, so that the illumination device 30 can be moved together with the machine table. In the spray cap 20, a housing 31 of the illumination device 30 is first arranged. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 2, the illumination module 32 has six light strips 32. Of course, more than six or less than six light strips may be provided, which ultimately depends on the specific application of the lighting device.
The light strips 33 and the light emitting diodes 34 may be coupled to a control module or a control device, not shown here. The control module may be configured to individually control each light strip 33 or each light emitting diode to individually adjust the light intensity or brightness of each light strip 33 and each light emitting diode 34, respectively. Thus, different lighting scenarios can be realized, so that a particularly good illumination of the work area is possible at the same time minimized shadow. The control device not shown here may be coupled to an operating unit of the machine tool.
With the control module, the light strips 33 and the light-emitting diodes 34 can also be pulsed by the LEDs are cyclically switched on or off. The cycle can be adapted approximately to the rotational speed of a tool, so that the viewer is a substantially stationary image of the moving tool. After insertion of the housing 31 with the lighting module 32 disposed therein in the spray cap 20, a translucent plate 35 is placed on the housing 31 on the light side. The translucent plate is designed so that the light emitted by the bulbs light is substantially uniformly scattered. In one embodiment of the invention, a frosted-glass pane or a frost-covered glass pane can be used for this purpose. Depending on the requirements of the lighting device, the translucent plate can be provided with a scratch-resistant layer. As an alternative to a frosted glass pane or frosted glass pane, opaque plastic panes can also be used. In a further alternative embodiment of the invention, it is also possible to use completely transparent panes which are coated with an opaque film.
After applying the translucent plate 35 to the housing 31, a clamping frame 36 is arranged at the front of the translucent plate 35, with which the translucent plate 35 is fixed to the housing 31 and to the spray cap 20.
